RTUs and SCADA dial-up: same RTU, new line
The RTU, the modem and the SCADA side stay as they are. Polls and callbacks keep running as they do today.
How it works
The box replaces the copper where it comes in. We test connect, poll and callback on each modem before install. An IP upgrade can come later, on your schedule.
- No new device, no reprogramming
- Two boxes on a post at the road, solar powered
- Copper business lines are billing $200–2,700 a month. Cellular service for a line typically runs $15–45 a month.
Stations are often classified: V2 Class I Div 2. For SCADA-monitored pipelines you get a test record for your 49 CFR 192.631 file.
